Wheat Fall

My first piece completed at the Krenov School of Fine Woodworking in Fort Bragg, CA. Completed in the depths of January 2025, this wall-hanging cabinet brought together many construction techniques I consider to be most enjoyable. The coopered door, angled sides, and dovetailed carcass provided unique challenges. Where many of the steps of the process felt daunting as they were my first time attempting various techniques, I hope that the final product is able to exude a sense of stability and calmness.

Birch, Madrone. Finished in shellac.
